I don’t understand, one day the shots are of snow and frozen lakes and the next few days down the road is a shot like this. Does the weather change that often there? Thanks for the web site.
The weather doesn’t change that fast here, but there are differences in areas.
For example, this picture was taken near Helsinki which is quite a bit south of us.
A lot of our pictures have been taken on south facing fields, that melt first. And the last shots with snow were taken in a shady forest, which melts last.
In a sense, it just goes to show how selective photography can be in what it represents. The angles of the shots and small choices with respect to location can give you very different views of the conditions.
