How deep is the snow? Three pictures ago it looked like it was almost up to the top of the buffalos.
Honestly, not very. The picture of Jalo on top of the buffaloes was shot in the same place as this: http://randomfire.fierymill.net/shutterclicks/2008/03/hibernating-buffaloes/ with Jalo standing on top of them.
If I remember correcly, Sulo is digging on top of a ditch so the snow appears deeper than it really is. We haven’t had anywhere near a normal amount of snow this winter…
