We often don’t talk about the technical part of photography, but honestly it’s been a joy not having to consider which camera to bring along on walks depending on the type of photographs we want. Previously with the 7D (crop sensor, faster frame rate and better auto focus) and 6D (full frame, better image quality but lousy auto focus) it was always a question of the goal of what kind of photographs we want on the walk. And often we didn’t know before hand. Of course both cameras have helped create great photographs, but the R6 is such a wonderful combination of the best of both the 7D and 6D and takes it all up a notch. Of course that should be expected as it’s about 10 years newer than the 7D.
