Unfortunately after the rock carvings we really had to start heading towards home and starting to drive south from Alta over the Norwegian fells towards the Finnish fells. We slept one night on the side of the road by a little lake. Nearby there was also a marked route that lead to another small lake. Of course when we got to the lake we had one dog in the water and one dog out of it. We’d spent quite a bit of time in the tundra without many trees and now driving south the trees from the southern fells had also lost their leaves.
