We found a nice little trailhead to spend the night near the Dutch-Belgian border and then took a walk with the boys in a large nature conservation area that is also a very popular park. For someone that is used to the mainly evergreen forests of Finland, the big trees with extensive canopies were a new and wonderful experience.
Kulo paid careful attention to how Kamu was posing. Which was not well on this day since he was more interested in heading into the trees to investigate all of the scents…
But these treelined paths were wonderful.
