From Slovakia we drove along small and twisty mountain roads to the mountains of southern Poland where we found a mountaintop to spend the night on. We woke of to a frosty morning but the boys had fun and we enjoyed the views and the autumn foliage. This is also when we realized that the diesel available at Central European gas stations doesn’t really work with Núr’s diesel heater when the temperatures are below freezing and the morning in the van was a bit cooler than usual.
