This picture of Kamu in front of Rakvere castle is the perfect ending for our road trip this autumn. We saw many a castle and visited many countries, dog shows, forests, beaches and bodies of water. We went from below sea level in Amsterdam to the mountains of Slovakia and Poland. We saw many reminders of wars that should have taught us the futility and stupidity of wars in the modern age. But alas we also saw many reminders of Russia’s attack on Ukraine. It was a wonderful nearly six weeks on the road, but as always coming home was also welcome.
