Today it’s been 12 years since Flippe went over the rainbow bridge. He wasn’t the easiest of dogs, but still got us hooked on the breed that we really can’t imagine living without. Anna was hoping for a liver flatcoat even then, but in the end our seventh flatcoat ended up being our first liver.
We have used this photo several times in the past, but it is really the best photo we have of Flippe. Sure, his eyes are a bit droopy, he’s wet and there is drool all over. But he was doing what he loved doing best, retrieving balls from the water and was happy-tired. These are the moments we remember, the everyday life with our dogs.
